ShqipOn the occasion of the international day of voluntarism, DEV-AID organized the campaign “I’m a volunteer!” raising awareness to the community about the values of voluntarism as an added value for a better and active citizenship. The campaign was held firstly by the main streets of Tirana, delivering information fliers and asking the occasional individuals passing by the streets to write in big flipcharts their own opinion about this issue. The second activity in this behalf was a workshop held with the pupils of and 9-years school to promote values of voluntarism to the children and analyze how they see and express it with their own words.

For 16 days, DEV-AID were engaged in various activities at the Regional Directorate of Public Vocational Training Number 4 Tirane. These activities were concluded with a massive activity held at the premises of RDPPF No.4. Tirane with the participation and support of Women’s Empowerment Network /AWEN.
6. Awareness Campaign: “No Woman No EQUALITY”
On behalf of 8th March, DEV-AID in cooperation with AWEN, organized an awareness campaign at the premises of “Regional Directorate of Public Vocational Training Center” No.4, Tirane, for the beneficiaries of the center in order to inform them and make them aware about woman’s rights and gender equality.
7.#8MarsUneJamSupergrua- Mother Teresa Square
On the occasion of 8 March, DEV-AID Organization was part of the event #8MarsUneJamSupergrua, organized by Swedish Embassy with the collaboration of AWEN.
8.-Yzberisht kindergarten- in an awareness raising meeting on “Wind energy” with children and parents, in the framework of the project #doityourself.
9.Awareness raising campaign on “Recycling – Environmental Protection and Waste Reuse”- with the community of Yzberish (parents and pupils of 9-year school Yzberish) in the framework of the project #doityourself.
10.Cycle of awareness activities- “Career Advice”, with high school graduates of “Besnik Sykja”
11.In the village of Yrshek, with elementary school pupils in an awareness raising activity on environmental protection – topic “Recycling and waste separation” under the framework of the project #doityourself
12. Awareness campaign in the framework of the 8th of March, International Women’s Day
March 8, 2018. DEV-AID Organization, together with other organizations, was part of the march of hundreds of women and girls, human rights activists, who held a protest march on the international women’s day. Together we protested to state institutions, demanding more protection, dignity and human rights for the most discriminated part of society. Representatives of DEV-AID organization distributed messages to women, girls and everyone else as a way of raising awareness for the values, strength and indisputable importance of women in every sphere of society as well as on the ongoing struggle for equality.
13.“Say Something-Do Something” social-awareness activity for the prevention of bullying in school environments, with the pupils of the 9th grade of 9-year school Yrshek.
